Faith Colson

Faith Colson is the inspiration behind Faith’s Law, landmark legislation in Illinois that strengthens protections for students against sexual abuse in schools. After coming forward with a delayed disclosure, Faith identified critical gaps in the law and took action—partnering with legislators, survivors, and education stakeholders to draft, revise, and ultimately pass two major pieces of legislation. Today, she speaks nationwide on the issue of educator sexual misconduct and continues to support survivors and policy advocates working for change across the country.
