Joelle Casteix is a nationally recognized communications strategist, author, and survivor advocate whose work has reshaped the landscape of institutional accountability and child protection in the United States. For more than two decades, she has exposed systemic cover-ups in the Catholic Church and public-school systems, led survivor-centered reforms, and helped craft and advance landmark legislation—including AB 218 in California.
A respected national voice for transparency and prevention, Joelle has appeared in major media outlets, advised journalists, partnered with researchers, and trained thousands of professionals across the country.
Joelle also serves as Board Chair of Zero Abuse Project.
Her mission is simple and urgent: to turn silence into safety. Through her writing, speaking, and leadership, Joelle works every day to ensure that survivors are believed, institutions are held accountable, and every child has the right to learn in an environment free from abuse.
