Dr. Charol Shakeshaft, Ph.D.

Charol Shakeshaft has been studying school employee sexual misconduct since the 1980s. Her most recent book, Organizational Betrayal: How Schools Enable Sexual Misconduct and How to Stop It, offers a comprehensive look at the who, what, and how of sexual misconduct in schools, along with a practical guide to prevention. Dr. Shakeshaft is Emeritus Distinguished Professor at Virginia Commonwealth University.
